EXPERT RESPONSE
A quick fix may be to check and make sure that Outlook is your default e-mail program and that whatever your default Internet browser is, that all of its files still remain. You can set defaults in Control Panel -- Internet options -- Programs. If this doesn't correct the problem, then check the settings in Windows Explorer for HTTP file types. Changes in security settings can affect default programs used for certain file types. To check the settings for HTTP in Windows 2000, open Windows Explorer and then:
1. Click the tools menu and select folder options.
2. Scroll down to URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol.
3. Click advanced, and then click the edit button.
4. Check that the path is correct for your browser; for example, for Internet Explorer the default settings are:
default path is "C:Program FilesInternet Exploreriexplore.exe" –
nohome
default DDE message is "%1",,-1,0,,,,
default Application is iexplore
