I am trying to connect to a distribution share on a domain controller from a boot floppy and the net use command. When I connect I get "error 5 access denied." I have checked the share permissions and the NTFS permissions, and they look fine, as do the GPOs. How can I resolve this?

Make sure that you don't have SMB signing enabled through your domain. This could cause your problem.
