QUESTION POSED ON: 11 October 2005
I need to share an Access database (Office 2003) in the Public Folder, much in the same manner as Word or Excel documents.

My problem is that *.mdb files will not open within Outlook because of Outlook's security settings.

I have changed the registry that allows me to save the database, but I do not wish to save the database, only to open it. Any suggestions?

EXPERT RESPONSE
Try creating (via regedit) a new string called Level1Remove with a value of .mdb under HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0OutlookSecurity -- that should do the trick.
