QUESTION POSED ON: 13 April 2006
If you are logged into a Windows XP or Windows 2000 computer with local administrator rights and you have WSUS configured via GPO, is there a way to automatically download and install approved patches without prompting?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
Yes, one of the options for configuring WSUS via GPO is to install the download and install automatically via an administrator-configured schedule. See this page for more information.
