QUESTION POSED ON: 22 March 2007
Why do certain secure Web sites cause Windows Vista Ultimate to revert back to Windows Basic (non-aero functionality) while they are accessed? And why is it that the moment those sites are closed, Windows Vista Ultimate once again reverts back to the Aero experience?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
The only thing I've heard of related to Vista turning off Aero transparency is outlined here. Apparently a quick change over to the Balanced power plan will fix the issue.
