• Real-time MicroWorld Winsock Layer MWL scanning of information, including incoming POP3 email and outgoing SMTP email and attachments as they are run. It deletes worms automatically and scans bat/graphic/plain text attachments and BinHex files, as well as GZIP/Stuffit and other archive attachments, PDF/executable and screensaver files.

• Compatibility with all versions of Windows Vista.

• The eScan Content Administrator feature allows you to monitor and administer Internet traffic flowing into and out of your system. You can set security policies to check email traffic for specific words or phrases like XXX, naked and so forth; prohibit or allow the exchange of specific attachment types, enable attachment auto-compression; and send warning messages to senders, receivers and others when security policies are violated.

• Blocking and allowing access to specific sites or pages with restricted words.

• Providing an automatic means to erase details of sites and Web pages you have accessed. It also has features for removing tracks of normal offline activity like opening and closing files and delete operations. Deleted files, Internet cache, history files, cookies and the like are removed permanently from hard disks. It allows Internet use without leaving history or residual data on the hard drive.
